Scanditronix was founded in 1965 and subsequently acquired by IBA in 1999, as a wholly-owned subsidiary. Scanditronix is one of the pioneers in the field of particle accelerators and radiation therapy.
Through the years Scanditronix has delivered many different products used for different applications including spectrometers, cyclotrons, a variety of microtrons, and dosimetry systems for radiation therapy and industrial e-beam systems.
The company has installed more than a hundred accelerators and thousands of dosimetry systems world-wide.
Today Scanditronix Wellhöfer is mainly focused on radiation therapy applications. Products range from dosimetry diodes, water phantoms all the way to the MM50 Racetrack Microtron.
